This spectacularly scenic natural area will feature late spring foraging at its best. From the onset, We'll find herbs and greens such as chickweed,lamb's-quarters,violets, field garlic, and daylilies in sunny, open areas.
In the woods behind the nature center, we'll look for pungent garlic mustard, root beer-flavored sassafras, and spicy ramps.

The 60-minute talk begins at 70 Gracey Rd., Canton, CT at 2 PM, on Sunday, June 6, followed by a 60-minute walking tour beginning at 3 PM. In case of overflow crowds, a second 60-minute tour will begin at 4 PM.
